What You'll Do

The GenAI Product team focuses on delivering advanced AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer insights, and business decision-making.

 

As a Global Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling GenAI products that align with business needs and user demands.
Your squad will be responsible for:

Driving the roadmap for new GenAI products, focusing on business applications that create value for users.Collaborating with stakeholders to define priorities and manage the product lifecycle, from concept to delivery.Testing and deploying GenAI-based tools to gather actionable insights and ensure product scalability.Developing strategies to improve product usability and adoption within the organization.


Among your responsibilities, you will:

Deliver business results and customer valueDeliver outcomes that support specific and measurable KPIsAs a member of a GenAI squad work to continuously deliver customer value each sprint.Stand in as proxy Product Owner, as neededServe as the voice of customer or end-userTranslating the voice and needs of customer into user stories, engaging users as neededEngaging in continuous discovery (e.g., via surveys & interviews) to understand customer needsLeveraging empirical and qualitative data to assess feature performance and inform prioritizationAnalyzing tradeoffs involving customer value, cost, and effort.Representing customer needs to ensure they are understood and integrated into the Squad’s workProactively seeking customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirementsFacilitating product demos to empower Squad members with real-time feedback from customersEnable the organization’s new way of workingModeling behaviors to support the organization’s transformation to a new way of workingActively creating and maintaining a Squad culture based on the organization and Agile behaviorsProviding informal and formal feedback within context of larger performance management systemOversee what is delivered by the Squad and whenPrioritize work through a well-organized backlog of user stories and clearly communicate what needs to be done and by whenDefine and clearly communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business & customer needsSupport and enable the Squad to effectively deliverRegularly engage with the Squad to offer feedback on work-in-progress and clarify requirementsEngage with Chapter Leads regarding resourcing and functional expertise required in Squad, aligning on requirements and responsibilitiesProvide feedback as part of performance management of Squad members and other members of the Product Portfolio

What You'll Bring

Experience building GenAI/AI and user-facing productsA background supporting the build of new software in enterprise settings6-8+ years’ relevant experience as a product manager/analyst, business analyst or scrum masterRelevant experience in various AI or technology-driven productsUnderstanding of agile principles and ways of workingGood understanding of technology enabled business transformation, Digital transformation, Organizational transformation, delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projectsStrong knowledge of current GenAI technologies and their application to delivering actionable insightsStrategic thinker who can converge ideas into tangible productsHighly organized & proactive resource managerStrong communications and stakeholder management skillsExperience working with JIRA or similar tool a plusExperience with Tableau, PowerBi or Alteryx is a plusExperience in consulting is a plus

Who You'll Work With

Every member of your squad (including development, design, and QA), for which you will be its product leaderInternal customers, translating their voice and needs into user stories and engaging users as neededProduct Owners to align on priorities, dependencies and best practices

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below. 

 

Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following: 

In Chicago the base salary is between $122,000- $148,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-16% 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
