What You'll Do
The IT organization is looking for an IT Vendor Management Senior Manager who will be responsible for establishing and supporting vendor management capabilities for the IT and Digital Products functions at BCG. This new vendor management role will be embedded within the VMO but fully dedicated to supporting the Platform Engineering organization for at least the first 18–24 months. The role will be accountable for driving a long-term vendor strategy, managing complex MSP relationships, navigating over 300 vendors, and ensuring strong alignment with delivery leadership. This role will work collaboratively with Procurement and given the scale of spend and complexity across teams, the role’s breadth will span strategic sourcing, renewals, vendor consolidation, leading vendor management programs, and proactive commercial management to unlock significant cost savings and operational efficiency.

7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, ideally in a high-growth, technology-driven environmentSeasoned leader with a track record of driving innovation in vendor strategy. Deep experience with IT supplier ecosystems and a variety of contracting models (staff augmentation, managed services, outsourcing, etc.)Experienced negotiator adept at securing favorable terms and fostering mutually beneficial vendor relationshipsExceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills; highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and related business toolsStrong project management skills to deliver vendor management projects on time and on valueHighly self-directed and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; thrives in a hands-on, execution-focused roleAbility to navigate through a global framework, handle conflicting priorities and goalsWorking knowledge of vendor management platforms and tools helpfulBachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferably in Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
