What You'll Do
IT Cloud Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing an BCG Knowledge portfolio’s cloud computing strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency in cloud-based services and infrastructure. This role involves managing cloud architecture, optimizing cloud operations, and implementing best practices for cost management, security, and automation across development and operations pipelines. The role is a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning to align DevSecOps practices with business goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a cloud infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals.Design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures across AWS, AzureOversee the adoption of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.Manage cloud workloads, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated deployments (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).Monitor cloud environments for performance, uptime, and optimization.Establish cost management best practices across cloud infrastructureAutomate provisioning and scaling: Implement Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration for scalabilityDeploy security monitoring and compliance automation tools like Veracode, Prisma Cloud.Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for seamless cloud deployments.Implement serverless computing solutions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).Optimize log management, observability, and monitoring using Datadog and CloudWatch.Support ML Ops for AI-driven applications: Automate ML model training and deployment pipelines.Implement edge computing solutions: Optimize infrastructure for low-latency applications.Collaborate with software engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to align cloud infrastructure with BCG's IT objectives.Develop and execute incident response plans to ensure quick resolution of cloud-related outages.Implement real-time monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.

Must haves:
8 years of hands-on experience in Cloud platform engineering like AWS or Azure, including 3 years of experience in a Management or leadership role4 years plus experience with docker and Kubernetes.8 years plus experience with Jenkins/CircleCI/Octopus and other CI/CD Tools.4 Years plus experience in packer/Terraform.Experience in Cloud Networking VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, DNSExperience with Sonarqube, Veracode and monitoring tool like DatadogExperience in secrets management like HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArkExperience in Vector DB or Graph DB
Good to have:
