What You'll Do
As a Director in the Global Accounting and Control - Revenue and Commercial Support team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's revenue strategy and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal Management Reporting standards. Your role will involve leading complex projects, team management, driving operational efficiencies and controls, and contributing to the firm's technical knowledge base.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead revenue-related strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the firm's broader financial goals, and navigating stakeholder related change management.Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on revenue and accounting practices.Exhibit deep technical and functional expertise in revenue management, US GAAP, and management reporting.Lead the adoption and optimization of digital tools within the revenue function.Approach complex revenue challenges with structured problem-solving, logical, supportable techniques.Drive innovation in revenue analysis and reporting processes, providing insightful analysis that informs business decisions.Partner with commercial functions, local and regional finance teams to stay connected to the business and bring deeper insights to reporting, revenue reserves, project reporting, case economic review, and audit.Oversee the management of operations, programs, and projects, ensuring high-quality output and value creation for the business.Develop and implement strategies to manage resources effectively and mitigate risks.Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, tailoring your message to different audiences.Influence decision-making processes and drive change through effective narrative and data-driven insights.Foster a collaborative work environment, partnering with diverse teams across the firm.Lead by example in building strong relationships and promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual support.You're Good At:
You have a proven track record of leading complex projects and initiatives that drive strategic change within the finance function.You possess deep expertise in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of US GAAP, financial systems, and digital tools.You have experience with project accounting and understanding case economics.You excel at independently identifying and solving complex problems, leveraging analytical skills to provide innovative solutions and insights and are able to effectively document logic that drove the decision including levels of confidence.You are adept at communicating complex ideas effectively, both in writing and verbally, and can influence stakeholders at all levels.You have demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams, foster collaboration, and build strong professional relationships.You can work at many levels including high level strategic projects as well as digging into the detail where required.What You'll Bring
10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on revenue management and reporting.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar designation strongly required; advanced degree a plusStrong analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management, Microsoft Excel, Alteryx).Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.Who You'll Work With
This position is a leadership role within the Global Revenue and Commercial Support team, reporting directly to the Global Revenue Senior Director. You will work closely with senior leadership across the firm, leading a team that is integral to the Global Accounting and Control (GAC) function. Your efforts will support the consolidation and reporting of the firm's global financial information and contribute to the development of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
