Reporting to the CFO, this high-impact role is responsible for advancing our analytics capabilities, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to Unilever, and serving as a key business partner to our global functions headquartered in Carson, California. This role is pivotal in empowering leadership with performance insights, driving data-led decision-making, and ensuring alignment with Unilever Prestige-s financial standards. With two direct reports and influence across international teams, this position is both strategic and hands-on, providing an exciting opportunity to shape how we manage and understand our business. **Key Responsibilities:** **Lead the Global Analytics Agenda** + Evolve Dermalogica's global information and analytics strategy and own the standard forglobal sales and financial data model, ensuringconsistency across regions. + Ensure tools are simple, scalable, and cost-effective, designed to empower business users with actionable insights. + Develop the finance team-s data capabilities and introduce technologies that simplify insight generation. + Drive data management, hypothesis testing, and the creation of advanced analytics models that solve complex performance challenges. + Partner with global stakeholders to create predictive models and analytics frameworks that help further define issues and opportunities that will most significantly impact our business. **Commercial Financen Business Partner to Global Functions** + Support the International division ($50M revenue across 50+ geographies) and Clear Start brand ($20M in global sales). + Provide budget oversight and insight for IT, Marketing, R&D, Education, Visual Merchandising, HR, and Executive functions. + Evaluate global innovation projects and manage budget planning and tracking for all departments. **Own Key Financial Reporting & Forecasting Cycles** + Lead monthly consolidation and submission of financial results and forecasts to Unilever. + Ensure timely, accurate delivery of global reporting-P&L, KPIs, weekly sales, cash flow, balance sheet, working capital, and product innovation tracking. + Coordinate monthly and quarterly performance reviews with internal teams and Unilever Prestige. **Performance Management & Budget Planning** + Partner with the CEO and CFO during monthly P&L reviews and global planning cycles. + Ensure integration and alignment across subsidiaries and distributor businesses. + Lead the annual budgeting process: define timelines, templates, and reviews, ensuring clarity on risks, opportunities, and final targets. **Reporting Structure & Systems Leadership** + Define and maintain Dermalogica-s reporting structure in Adaptive Insights. + Lead global restatements, including foreign exchange rate updates. + Explore automation (RPA/GenAI) to streamline processes and improve forecast/reporting accuracy. **What Success Looks Like** 1. You support the CFO and CEO by delivering clear, timely insights that guide key business decisions. 2. The leadership team has access to the information they need to effectively manage performance across global markets and functions. 3. You are a strategic partner to the International and Clear Start teams, helping them achieve their financial and operational goals. 4. Global functions are supported with accurate budgeting and financial insights, ensuring accountability and alignment. 5. Forecasts are unbiased, performance gaps are clearly understood, and monthly forecasts and reporting submissions to Unilever are accurate, on time, and require minimal rework. **What You-ll Bring** **Education & Experience:** + Prior experience in a commercial finance role, preferably within consumer goods or services. + Bachelor-s degree in Finance or Accounting **required** ; CPA or equivalent **_preferred_** . + Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex, multi-source data sets. + Proficiency with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). + Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights). + Experience managing and developing a small team of direct reports. **Key Skills & Attributes:** + Demonstrated ability to deliver actionable business insights and real results. + Strong analytical thinking with a focus on simplifying complex issues. + Skilled at communicating financial messages in business-friendly terms to drive cross-functional alignment. + Proven ability to quickly build rapport, adapt to new environments, and collaborate effectively in diverse teams. + Growth-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to drive innovation. + Comfortable challenging the status quo to foster continuous improvement. **This global leadership position is based at our Carson, CA, headquarters** with applicable hybrid on-site guidelines. You will directly manage two finance analysts while collaborating closely with global business partners and cross-functional teams. **The expected annual base salary range for this position is $115,000-$130,000.** The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget.
