Are you our Ericsson Global Deployment Lead based in Tallinn, Estonia? Supply site Tallinn IT team is currently looking for the best talent for this newly created role! The position is located in Tallinn, Estonia but will work globally across the world.
As Global Deployment Lead you will have the opportunity to drive the deployment of two IT solutions at Ericsson Manufacturing sites worldwide: EIC-NG/HC client (Ericsson Industrial Computer) and Secure Software Distribution for Test domain.
Please note, in this role flexibility in working hours is required to be able to accommodate collaboration with different regions/time zones across the globe to secure and supervise deployment activities.
What you will do
Coordinate deployment of IT hardware and integration activities for the Secure Software Distribution solution and deployment of EIC-NG/HC client across Ericsson internal and external manufacturing sites.Ensure all deployment activities align with IT security requirements.Support and coordinate network-related tasks such as firewall configuration and port openings by liaising with application and network teams.Oversee and track deployment kick-off efforts and cutover activities, ensuring smooth transitions, minimal downtime, and readiness across systems and users.Maintain updated project documentation and execute project governance through planning, reporting, audits, budgeting, and presentations.Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business adoption teams to develop and execute coordinated project and change management plans, including business readiness, site readiness, and training.Contribute to the implementation of program methodologies, including tools, templates, and cadence, while continuously promoting best practices and process improvements.Partner closely with development teams to manage interdependencies, risks, and performance metrics, and support execution of simulations and validation activities.
You will bring
Solid experience in IT project or programme management, including procurement and setup of hardware (e.g., servers), software installation and maintenance (cloud-based or on-premises).Proficient in project management and collaboration tools with a proven track record of driving project timelines and milestones within complex environments.Skilled in risk management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional team coordination, including status reporting, agreement meetings, and leadership updates.Highly proactive and resourceful in acquiring necessary knowledge from project repositoriesFluent in EnglishStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsPreferred:
