What You'll Do
This role will be responsible for supporting preparation activities for BCG’s annual compensation programs. It will sit within the Global Compensation COE and act as a key part of the programs team. Responsibilities will include:
1. Support annual comp programs: Support global launch of compensation programs which will include maintaining documentation, performing analysis, conducting data audits and enabling successful execution of global processes, whilst adhering to defined timelines and sequencing of activities.
2. Coordinate with HR teams/end users: Liaise with relevant points of contact in HR teams/business units across multiple countries, advising on the comp program guidelines, answering ad-hoc queries, coordinating/flagging issues and escalating when needed, and performing audits of compensation in Workday.
3. Conduct analysis and testing: Assist in preparing year-end bonus pools and analysis, including testing outcomes and checking accuracy/exploring anomalies as needed.
4. Collaborate with other teams to maintain data/templates: Work closely with IT/data product portfolio, mobility, HR, and other teams, to maintain accuracy of bonus tool and salary information in Workday.
5. Contribute to the design of trainings/comms materials: Contribute to the development of training materials for end users on the annual compensation programs, processes, tools, philosophy and best practices. This will include communicating program launch, timelines, guidelines and any tool updates, which will enable the smooth implementation of annual compensation programs across the firm.
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/MBA a plus.
• 2–4 years of corporate/consulting compensation-related experience, or HR-related experience with a strong interest in compensation/rewards.
• Familiarity with HR information systems, best practices and leading market approaches.
• Proven ability to design creative solutions to ambiguous problems.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to design, enhance, and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
