JOB TITLE : GENERAL WORKER

The General Worker is responsible to performs a variety of tasks to support operations in Production line. Responsibilities include, assisting skilled workers and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Your responsibilities will include: (list in order of critical deliverables, just the main responsibilities in detail)

Core Responsibilities:

Area of responsibility-

Performing all required general work including, receiving, cleaning, fitting, packing, general housekeeping, and other duties as may be instructed to support the day-to-day production operations Performing all work according to work order, load and unloading materials as per requirement. Undertaking all necessary activities at production line including general maintenance activities of the work area, tools, machines, equipment and etc. Monitoring all machines and assisting Technician in troubleshooting if required. Handling preparation needs for process. To take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what you do or don't do in the course of your work. Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Technician and Area Leader. To report any near miss, unsafe acts/conditions and injuries, or illnesses you suffer as a result of doing your job. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. To co-operate with your employer, making sure you get proper training, and you understand and follow the company’s health and safety policies, rules and procedures. Not to interfere with tamper and misuse anything that’s been provided for your health, safety and welfare and to wear or use at all times any protective equipment or clothing provided by employer for purpose of preventing risks to his safety and health.

Mandatory requirements:

Must possess at least Higher Secondary/ SPM /STPM/ “A” Level/ Pre-U or equivalent.At least 1 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.

Desirable requirements:

Able to assist to operate manual and semi auto equipment which requires physical strength.Good oral, written communication skills, basic math skills.Basic problem-solving skillsGood communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.Physical fitness, ability to follow instructions, problem-solving skills, and good communication.Able to work at heights, lifting/handling heavy objects, and performing physically demanding tasks.
