Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Grand Mercure Bangalore. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our building systems and equipment.

Perform routine inspections of premises and equipmentConduct preventative maintenance on various building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in building systems and equipmentRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situationsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventoryCollaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and efficient work environmentAssist in the implementation of energy-saving and sustainability initiativesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codesParticipate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practicesManage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
Qualifications
Diploma, Degree, ITI, or equivalent qualification in a relevant fieldProven experience as a General Maintenance Technician or similar roleStrong knowledge of various maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systemsProficiency in using and maintaining a wide range of tools and equipmentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprintsExcellent communication and teamwork skills
