The General Accountant for Mammotome is responsible for maintaining accounting and financial information that reflects the company operation and help decision making. This position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is part of the Finance & Accounting Team l ocated in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Apply accounting principles to install and maintain the General Accounting operating system and provide records of company assets, liabilities and financial transactions. + Assures monthly Mexico books closing & support on JE’s as needed. + Maintains the accounting and records or oversees subordinates in accounting activities for such records as expenditures, expenses and tax payments or in maintaining accounting controls of inventories and purchases. + Is responsible for formulating required Financial Statements, Social Security, INFONAVIT, SAT returns and their submission before respective offices. + Supervises personnel severance payments, controls transferences of bank balance funds. The essential requirements of the job include: + Professional Public Accountant or Accountant career. + Minimum 5-year experience in the accounting & taxes. + Broad experience in Fiscal laws and regulations. + Experience in customs and environmental laws. + Fluency English / Advance d Level. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Knowledge of Tress, MS Office , Outlook , and SAP . + Broad knowledge of Social Security tax law. + Knowledge of Federal Labor Law.
