GDI Operations Facilitator Intern - OVIP

About the Role

We are in the process of transforming the Government Defense & Intelligence Go-To-Market plans, to significantly increase efficiency by re-thinking processes, technology, reporting, operations and talent development; and therefore, we’re looking for Operations Facilitator to join the GDI Sales Strategy & Execution Team.

Responsibilities

As the GDI Business Analyst - Operations Facilitator you will be responsible for supporting GDI’s goals including but not limited to:

Spearhead sales play execution using the new to GDI Sales Planning Segmentation (SPS) tool by: Identifying target accounts based on Install Base, Pipeline, Tech Consumption, Subscription, Leads and Competitive Technologies.  Acting in a sales planner capacity to increase sales play effectiveness, shorten the sales cycle, and increase overall win rate.  Standardize onboarding with a new program containing 8 custom role-based learning paths for core role (Sales, BD, SE, A&C + Managers) and a role-agnostic onboarding checklist for non-core roles (e.g. Mktg, Ops, etc.) which: Formalizes processes and responsibilities of new hire, manager, buddy, & operations  Decreases new hire ramp time through education and early intervention on tools, processes, and practices.  Fosters supportive relationship between new hires and management and encourages high standard of employee engagement. Drive learning transfer by implementing the 6 Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning framework resulting in: End-to-End process which brings together stakeholders to ensure success at each stage (Define, Design, Deliver, Deploy, Drive, Evaluate) Sustaining long-term quality enablement with a proven methodology based on adult-learning principles. Increased retention rate, employee satisfaction and inclusive culture

Skills & Qualifications

Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Business management experience, and Marketing/Business Development experience in the high-tech industry preferred. Proven leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. 1 - 2 years previous experience. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication and teaching skills.

US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred Previous customer facilitation experience, ideally in sales and support processes Demonstrated proficiency with data collection, modeling, and presentation creation Relevant experience professionally or education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field preferred Process oriented, understand process flows and stakeholders, execute with precision Experience with technologies: Customer insight management platforms, Text/Sentiment analysis tools, Database and Sales Analytics, CRM support tools

You are looking to gain experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A problem solver and idea generator, you have experience with facilitation, education, and enablement. Ability to translate complex requirements and processes into easy-to-comprehend training segments for our clients and employees. Able to tackle ambiguity and challenges with a data focused solution-oriented mindset. Proficient in Oracle tools, Microsoft tools, Atlassian tools and the ability to learn.

Additional Information: 

Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40-hour per week position.

Internship runs from January 27 through April 18, 2025 – should be available full time 40 hours per week during these dates.
