Oracle Payments team works with various business units in Oracle to bring new consumer payment offerings to market across the many industries Oracle serves.  As member of the Oracle Payments Product Development team,you will be contributing to the engineering efforts using a variety of technologies to deliver amazing product features that align with our strategic vision and deliver amazing payments experience for our customers.

This opening is for a full stack Senior Software Engineer in the Oracle Payments Team.  You will work with a fast-growing, action-oriented team of software engineers, test automation engineers, product managers and UX designers to build out new functionality and enhancements within the product. As a team, we use Agile methodologies to self-organize and deliver value at a rapid pace.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

As a member of this team, you would be working on groundbreaking cloud technologies, and are encouraged to analyze, design, code, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications.

Due to the large scope of responsibilities and domain knowledge required, this role calls for a highly technical, passionate and detailed oriented candidate, who will rise to the challenge to work with high level architects, application developers and product managers.

Skills: 

• Well-rounded full-stack developer with exposure to all layers of application development. • Advanced UI development skills using JET frameworks and/or VBCS is preferred.   • Excellent product development skills - designing, coding, and debugging skills using Java, J2EE and ADF   • Strong experience developing web UI’s using JavaScript ES6/Typescript/HTML/CSS/SCSS and related Client-side technologies (e.g. jQuery, RequireJS, Angular, Knockout, etc.)   • Solid grasp of REST and related Server-side technologies (e.g. SWAGGER, OpenAPI, NodeJS)   ����������������� Experience in Fusion Tech Stack (JDeveloper, OJET, ADF), OJET Web components, Helidon/Spring boot, JQuery, Python, node.js, Spark, GIT Source Control, NOSQL (Oracle/MongoDB) is desirable.    

The candidate should have:

• Experience with Cloud Applications and technologies. �� 8-10 Years of experience in in product development.  • Experience in scalability, performance, security, concurrency for cloud-based Apps is a plus.   • Experience of database design/modelling, knowledge of RDBMS concepts and working SQL knowledge is required. �� Solid understanding of software development roles, processes and procedures in the context of Web and Database development • Familiarity with Agile software methodology • Extensive interaction with the user community – both in terms of requirement analysis/gathering and post implementation support �� Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, debug technical issues, understand product features and limitations. ��� Ability to balance multiple development tasks and assignments simultaneously • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills  ���� Creativity and independent judgment in identifying and recommending process improvement  ���� Resourceful and thoughtful use of company assets (data, tools)  • Moderately complex problem solving requiring minimal assistance and guidance ��� Good communication skills as well as a positive attitude and a drive to lead the team. • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools/languages is a must. ��� Solid organizational, planning and tracking skills • In this role, duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.
