**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
**What your background should look like:**
The Digital Data Networks (DDN) business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for Operations FP&A Analyst based in Costa Rica. This position will report to the Sr. Operations FP&A Manager of the DDN Business Unit. This position will mainly cover the scope of US-non plant operational activities, including but not limited to tracking expenditure, performing monthly close/forecast/budget reporting & analysis, maintaining costing activities, as well as monitoring/improving internal control processes. Additionally, this candidate will provide effective partnership to US-based Central Ops teams as well as BU/Corp finance communities.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly, and periodical track & monitor of US non-plant based spending, not limited to freight/duty, central ops spend, etc.
•Support central Ops FP&A team on monthly closing/forecasting activities, especially on follow-up actions related to US region plant & non-plant
•Standard cost maintenance in SAP for US non-plant related sites, including annual re-cost and regular interim cost change activities
•Regular internal control monitoring on US non-plant related functions, and follow up internal audit CAPs if any
•Being the main Central Ops finance contact based in US region, the position can provide timely business support to US-based Central Ops functions and BU/Corp finance communities
•Support digital finance transformation initiatives with a focus on forecast accuracy and process automation
Background and Skills
•Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
•7+ years’ work experience in Finance and work experience in MNC, manufacturing plant background with solid knowledge and performance in costing of manufacturing
•Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP PR2, while having SAP S4 HANA working knowledge is a plus
•Advanced Excel skills (including PivotTables, Lookups, and Query); working knowledge of Power BI and similar data tool is a plus
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quick learn and multi-task
•Ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Mfg engineer, production, quality) and stakeholders at all levels
•Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
•Must be proficient in the English language
