Key responsibilities of a Food & Beverage Manager :

Management: Overseeing the operation of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, and event catering. Staff Management: Hiring, training, and managing staff, including front of house and back of house personnel. Service Quality: Ensuring consistent and high-quality food and beverage service, exceeding guest expectations. Cost Control: Managing expenses, controlling food costs, and monitoring revenue. Sales & Marketing: Implementing strategies to increase F&B sales and attract new customers. Menu Development: Collaborating with chefs to develop and refine menus, considering guest preferences and market trends. Event Management: Overseeing the planning and execution of events and catering, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Guest Relations: Addressing guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Quality Assurance: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and service quality. 

Additional skills and qualifications :

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury hospitality environment. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and service standards.
