DescriptionFitness center manager provides fitness floor and facility supervision, interacting with fitness center members and participants to ensure that exercise programs are carried out in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
\nPrepare weekly schedules and work assignments for Fitness Trainers.\nEnsure that the customers are given high quality services and assistance when needed.\nAssist in developing and maintaining workout programs.\nStay abreast on latest updates in fitness industry.\nEnsure gym facility is maintained clean, safe and orderly.\nEnsure that gym equipment are kept in good working condition.\nMonitor the initial workouts of new customers and provide feedback.\nMonitor and control expenses within the allotted budget.\nOffer various fitness programs to suite customer’s specific needs.\nWork with other staffs to achieve monthly target.\nEnsure that all staffs follow center’s procedures and policies.\nEnhance revenue by providing additional discounts and services to existing and new customers.\nSupervise day-to-day operations of the gym and personal training sessions.\nOrganize educational training, seminars and meetings for personal training staff for professional growth.\nResolve issues and complaints pertaining to personal training from customers.\nImplement customer suggestions and recommendations to optimize training program.\nSchedule and conduct gym tours to new customers.\nMaintain all paperwork regarding personal training schedules and procedures.\n


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nFour-year College degree from an accredited college in a related area(s) of Fitness or Wellness & Health.\nStrong leadership skills, with a positive and can-do attitude. \nStrong communication skills, with the ability to direct people and issue instructions.\nDetail-orientated.\nAn understanding of budgets, P&Ls and KPIs and their operational impact.\nProven ability to create and implement a fitness services menu and membership programme.\nProven ability to create marketing plans.\nProven sales ability.\nEmpathy and understanding and respect for the value of all team members, including attendants, receptionists and fitness instructors.\nPrevious experience as a hands-on fitness instructor (an advantage).\n
