You enjoy working with others, are results-driven, and seek various opportunities to develop personally and professionally. **The Role** The FLS Data Analyst is critical in supporting Fire Life Safety (FLS) system governance by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting safety-related data to enhance compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold brand standards. This position ensures data-driven decision-making by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities that impact the safety of individuals, assets, and operational processes. Additionally, the role involves supporting special projects across risk management and safety compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Employ statistical and analytical methods to identify safety data trends, patterns, and anomalies. •Oversee the collection, management, and interpretation of FLS and EHS compliance data from incident reports, inspection records, and other relevant sources. •Apply statistical and analytical methods to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies in safety data, supporting proactive risk mitigation. •Conduct root cause analysis to identify key drivers behind safety incidents and regulatory non-compliance. •Prepare detailed reports and executive summaries to present findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders. •Maintain and update safety databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility for audits and compliance reporting. •Implement data quality control measures to enhance the reliability of safety reporting. •Collaborate with internal teams to improve governance processes related to FLS system compliance and risk assessment. •Assist in developing predictive analytics models to anticipate and mitigate potential safety risks. •Participate in special initiatives and cross-functional projects, supporting enhancements in risk management and FLS governance •Opportunities to participate in Hyatt’s Diversity & Inclusion activities. **Qualifications:** **Experience Required:** + 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, compliance reporting, or auditing + Must have experience within Fire Life Safety (FLS), EHS, or Risk Management environments. + Experience working with NFPA, IBC, IFC, or other relevant safety codes and regulations is highly preferred. **Experience Preferred:** + Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Environmental Science, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field. + Background in hospitality, construction, or facilities management is a plus. + Data Analytics certifications preferred (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, or SQL certification).
