This position reports to the Global Operations Finance Director and is part of the Finance department located in Seoul, Korea and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Local Statutory Accounts and Tax Reporting

•              Process owner VAT filing (matching with e-tax data) and CIT filing

•              Responsible for Internal control and internal audit support

•              Review and transact account payables in compliance with the company guideline.

•              Support and work with CN finance team for JE booking

•              Support monthly closing in reconciliation of sub accounts and timely deliver MD standard reports

•              Be responsible to full compliance with local GAAP and US GAAP reporting

•              Contact person for external auditor, internal auditor, tax officer and bank related topics

•              Timely deliver reports and analysis per request by commercial team and finance organizations

•              Archive of all voucher and related supporting files

•              T&E reimbursement checking and policy update

•              Ownership of local banking operations including opening and closing accounts, bank account reconciliations and supporting the Company’s foreign exchange hedging policy in the region

•              Manage Fixed Asset and vendor & customer master.

•              Other activities finance, accounting, and tax related

Country Finance Control and business supporting

•              Support review and analysis of financial statements

•              Ensures that the income and expenses are properly recorded.

•              Implement and monitor the appropriate internal controls over financial reporting.

•              Ensures that all documentation complies with company's regulations and professional standards.

•              Collection of customer accounts receivables and establishment of credit controls

•              Support CP credit assessment

•              Be responsible for counting process included inventory counting/fix asset counting/Demo inventory counting, etc

•              Other support for organization – corporate chop, communication with payroll vendor, etc.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Good communication skills of English both oral and writingStrong US GAAP, SOX, tax, and other compliance knowledgeGreat communication skills and collaborating mannersPositive mindset in learning, problem solving, win as a team, integrity and achieve resultWork experience at least 5 years in finance & accounting
