The Position
This position has primary responsibility to support the finance team in the areas of accounting, cost, financial controls, travel and expense, supporting and resolving accounts payable/invoice discrepencies, and purchase to pay process. The person in this role will assist in coordination and execution of Finance related projects supporting all departments across the site. Microsoft Excel functions this role will be expected to perform include, but are not limited to: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and conditional formatting.

Reports to: Finance Manager
Essential Functions
+ Prepare and deliver timely, well-organized and informative financial data
+ Support assigned month end / year end processes as needed
+ Participate in and support project work related to Finance and Procurement
+ Collaborate with the team to develop, and standardize processes
+ Support budgeting process, financial audits, monthly reporting, and other projects
+ Support Purchase to Pay process and vendor resolution, including invoice verification
+ Perform Travel and Expense management support
+ Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested
+ Other duties as assigned
+ Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes
+ Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
Qualifications
+ Education and Certifications
+ Associate’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field required
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field preferred
+ Work Experience
+ Associate’s Degree with three (3) year of experience in Finance, Accounting, Economic or related field required
+ Bachelor’s Degree with one (1) year of experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field referred
+ Experience with Procure to Pay (P2P) preferred
+ One (1) year of experience in a professional environment preferred
+ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Business experience with Microsoft office programs i.e., excel
+ Ability to analyze & think strategically
+ Ability to create charts, graphs & presentations using MS Office tools
+ Excellent written & oral communication skills
+ Highly motivated & energetic
Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel is required. Able to work weekends and/or holidays, when needed or necessary. While performing this job employee work involves sitting most of the time with walking and standing required only occasionally. This position may lift up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication.
