The Field Service Engineer II is responsible for technical reports, to control the spare parts under their own possession and to request the items necessary to achieve customer satisfaction. The position has a high-impact contribution to the company’s success by providing services to our customer base.

This position reports to the Field Service Engineer Supervisor and is part of the Services Department located in São Paulo/Capital and will be working remotely to cover Brazil territory.  

In this role, the main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

Provide installation support, maintenance, and repair on 2-3 groups of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic and/or refrigeration instruments to achieve customer satisfaction, also document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner to comply with local and Leica policies. Actively support the service contracts, assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades. Provide other technical support as requested. Control the spare parts under own responsibility to maximize customer uptime and field service-related metrics. 

The essential requirements of the job include

Education:

Bachelor’s or Technical Degree. 

Experience:

Experience in mechanical, electromechanical, electronic equipment and scientific instruments. 

Experience in Diagnostic and repairing medical devices will be differential.

Other:

Valid Passport.

Language:

Portuguese/ English (Intermediate speaking)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record:

Ability to travel 80%+, frequent overnight travel, must maintain a flexible schedule, often with short notice. Occasional international travel will be required.Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
