CACI is seeking a Subject-Matter Expert Field Service Cabling and Hardware Engineer to provide specialized support for cabling and hardware systems critical to the operations of USSTRATCOM. This role focuses on ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient communication and data transfer systems that support command operations. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Provides direct supervision to the GOC Integration Team (GIT)
Provides installation of C4 systems/sub-systems and supporting systems; technical services for operations and maintenance of C4 systems; integration of Audio/Visual equipment; and cable installation, including Cat 6, fiber optic, control cable, and speaker wire
Tests components to ensure cables and equipment are within proper specifications
Troubleshoots and determines system performance issues and provides solutions
Provides removal and proper disposal of obsolete systems and equipment while adhering to proper disposal and documentation/handling procedures
Provides support for implementing technical solutions, installing interfaces, and ensuring that devices are operational
Provides installation, integration, test, and management of systems that support GOC personnel
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in cabling infrastructure and hardware engineering, preferably in a military or government environment
Required 8140 Cert: 723 - Intermediate; GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in using relevant engineering software and tools
Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

The proposed salary range for this position is:
