Responsible for conducting **quality engineering assessments and defect investigations** to support **KPIs, production, customer service, and a Zero Defect culture** .
**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in **Material Review Board (MRB) activities** on the shop floor.
+ Address **customer quality inquiries** promptly and professionally.
+ Take **ownership of quality assurance issues** affecting TE products.
+ Maintain **quality documentation** in an organized manner.
+ Conduct **8D defect investigations** and ensure **corrective actions** are implemented.
+ Participate in **manufacturing and control system audits** .
+ Collaborate with departments to **execute corrective actions and rework** efficiently.
+ Support **daily KPI monitoring and internal rework initiatives** .
+ Ensure compliance with **Health & Safety regulations** .
+ Perform **additional quality-related tasks** as required.
**What are we looking for:**
+ Experience with **mechanical and electrical measuring equipment** .
+ Ability to **read engineering drawings** (e.g., BS 308).
+ **GCSE-level education** ; **Mechanical Engineering qualification is a plus** .
+ Strong **problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills** .
+ Ability to **work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines** .
+ **Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable** with a strong quality mindset.
