DescriptionA dynamic and guest-oriented Food & Beverage Captain with strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities· Provide food and beverage service to guests in the assigned restaurant, take orders, and offer recommendations.· Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner; ensure guest satisfaction and build a loyal guest base.· Lead the service team, serve as a role model, and guide the team as needed.· Fully understand the restaurant concept and the products offered, guide the team, and maintain service quality.· Implement opening and closing procedures completely, and manage cashiering duties.· Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and surrounding environment.· Monitor inventory and take measures to reduce waste and losses.· Fully comply with HACCP and residence / resort hygiene, health, and safety regulations.· Report guest complaints and feedback to managers and ensure follow-up.· Maintain strong team communication and manage team meetings when necessary.· Attend daily Food & Beverage meetings in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and inform the team.· Fully comply with residence / resort policies, fire, hygiene, and occupational health & safety rules.· Understand the department's profit and loss statement and work with cost awareness.· Perform other duties assigned by the manager as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise· At least 3 years of experience in a similar position (preferably in the luxury hotel, restaurant, residence / resort).· Warm, friendly, confident, and possesses strong communication skills.· Team-oriented with developed leadership and organizational skills.· Proficiency in English· Knowledgeable of HACCP and food safety standards.· Knowledgeable of health and safety rules.· Exhibits a positive, motivated, and solution-oriented attitude.
