Under the DHL Supply Chain umbrella, one of the business units of DHL, we provide customized logistics and industry solutions in the areas of supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, value added services, and lead logistics provider services for our customers – helping them deliver better results everyday.

Responsibilities\nSLA Management:\n\n\nEnsure delivery of key Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with customers in a fast-growing sector by managing and implementing operations for existing and new customers in accordance with DSC demands.\nLiaise with drivers, vendors, customers, and stakeholders as necessary, while adhering to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.\n\n\nOperational Performance:\n\nReview monthly operational performance with customers and provide solutions to drive operational excellence.\nOptimize transport routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.\n\n\nCustomer Relationship Management:\n\nBuild strong, win-win relationships with customers to ensure retention and develop solutions for business growth.\n\n\nData Management:\n\nMaintain accurate records of transport operations, including schedules, expenses, and incidents.\nAnalyze transport data to identify trends and areas for improvement.\n\n\nPresentation Support:\n\nCreate presentation decks for periodic review meetings with customers, ensuring accurate data representation.\n\n\nCommunication:\n\nFrequently update immediate superior on operational issues and performance indices, including customer profiles, contingency planning, resource management, operating procedures, team development, and P&L status.\n\n\nong>P&L Management:\n\nManage Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and costs associated with relevant accounts to ensure financial targets are met.\n\n\nTransport Planning and Execution:\n\nManage the planning process to ensure all daily operational activities meet customer SLAs.\n\n\nTransport Fleet Management:\n\nOversee the management and maintenance of the transport fleet to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.\nCoordinate vehicle scheduling, routing, and maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance service delivery.\nMonitor fleet performance metrics, including fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and driver performance to identify areas for improvement.\n\n\nProcess Improvement:\n\nContinually review and enhance business processes to improve productivity and add value to DHL services.\n\n\nTechnology Implementation:\n\nOversee the effective implementation and use of technology across the service chain to enhance service and productivity.\n\n\nTeam Development:\n\nDevelop a high-performance service culture within the functional team; plan, organize, and direct operations efficiently and effectively.\n\n\nInitiatives Support:\n\nAssist with initiatives focused on developing system capabilities and process improvement.\n\n\nTraining and Onboarding:\n\nSupport the training and onboarding of new staff in transport operations procedures.\n\n\nCompliance:\n\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.\n\n\nRequirements\nDegree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in managing an operational functional team.\nPrevious experience in transport operations or logistics preferred.\nExperience in reading and managing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements is advantageous.\nProficient in Microsoft Office and transport management software.\nProficient or interested in developing expertise in data analytics.\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.\nHighly motivated with the ability to supervise staff and manage relationships with all levels of employees and customers.\nFlexibility to accommodate work schedules relevant to operational needs.\nTeam player, willing to collaborate with different levels of the organization.\nRemains calm, objective and controlled in responding to urgent or demanding situations. Maintains effective performance under pressure. Stays positive.\nActs responsibly. Can be counted on to keep commitments.\n\n
