About the RoleThe European Portfolio & Commercialization Lead is a strategic leadership role within the Eurasia Product, Pricing and Regional Marketing Team managing Institutional Solutions portfolio. This position is responsible for optimizing the product portfolio across the region by driving simplification, innovation, and profitability. You will lead the Commercialization team and process, ensuring smooth introduction of new products while reducing complexity and improving margin across the portfolio.
You will collaborate closely with Global and European Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Regulatory, IT/IS, Supply Chain, R&D, and Master Data teams to align the portfolio strategy with business goals and market needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
Lead and develop a team of 4 European Portfolio Managers and 3 European Portfolio Managers & Team Leaders.Create a high-performance team culture that values collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.Portfolio Strategy & Execution
Identify opportunities for product and range simplification, and lead product lifecycle management initiatives.Execute SKU rationalization and portfolio optimization projects, aligning with business priorities and market trends.Monitor and drive improvements in margin performance, mix management, and portfolio complexity reduction.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Global and European Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to prioritize and execute strategic projects, including:Regulatory complianceCost reduction programsMergers & acquisitionsInnovation and new product launchesSupply chain optimizationPartner with Supply Chain to implement aged inventory reduction plans.Collaborate with IT/IS on commercialization-related software initiatives, including upgrades and replacements.Process & System Improvement
Coordinate with Regulatory, R&D, Master Data, and other departments to develop and implement process improvements and integrated solutions.Ensure structured and efficient commercialization processes are in place to support innovation and market readiness.Reporting & Business Rhythm
Lead the marketing biorhythm of meetings (e.g., PSR) and manage all associated reporting and dashboards.Provide regular updates to regional and global stakeholders, contributing to the S&OP process and other governance forums.Track and communicate the progress of key initiatives, including sales results, portfolio health, and complexity KPIs.Who We’re Looking ForProven leadership experience in portfolio management, commercialization, or product lifecycle management in an international setting.Strong strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive simplification, margin improvement, and growth through cross-functional alignment.Experience managing large-scale product portfolios, ideally with exposure to regulatory and operational constraints.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and project management.Familiarity with commercialization systems or tools, and a background in leading software-related initiatives is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across departments and geographies.Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.Why Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Solenis’ product portfolio in Europe, lead a diverse and dynamic team, and contribute directly to the company’s strategic objectives.
