About this opportunity:

GFMC Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility is looking to fill the position of ESG program manager within the ESG reporting team. This is a role with much exposure to the full breadth of Ericsson’s global operations as you will interact with subject matter experts across the Company on topics such as environmental and social sustainability, and corporate governance incl. business ethics (ESG). More important than your own subject matter expertise in either of these areas, is being able to guide technical experts and leverage their skills and knowledge to advance Ericsson’s external ESG disclosures and strategy, ensuring that we meet statutory obligations and position Ericsson favourably towards key stakeholders such as analysts, investors and customers.

The candidate we are looking for needs to have excellent communication and project management skills, and a good sense for details as much of the work covers meeting complex legal requirements around ESG. You should be driven and solutions-oriented and be comfortable with interacting with several types of stakeholders, including senior leaders.

What you will do:

•    Project management of the annual Sustainability Report (part of Ericsson’s Annual report), day-to-day and from a strategic long-term perspective, including:
1.    Understanding, communicating and implementing evolving legal requirements.
2.    Work with subject matter experts on drafting the Sustainability Report.
3.    Work with external auditors, ensuring their assurance procedures of the Sustainability Report are managed in an efficient and value-crating way.
4.    Collaborating with other key stakeholders responsible for the full Annual Report, such as Investor relations and the finance and legal departments.
5.    Collaborating with internal and external communications on report launch and activation.

•    Work closely with the Head of ESG reporting on strategic initiatives related to ESG and sustainability, such as:
1.    Continuously updating Ericsson’s understanding of its most material ESG matters.
2.    Drive ad-hoc projects involving other teams and units to ensure disclosure requirements are understood and acted on throughout the Company.
3.    Be the focal person for projects carried out together with external consultants in relation to material ESG matters.
4.    Act as a point of contact for disclosure-related matters, for both external and internal stakeholders.

The skills you bring:

•    Proven track record of excellent project management abilities
•    Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Strategic thinker with high integrity, trustworthiness, and dependability
•    Attention to detail, and proven ability to manage sensitive information with high levels of confidentiality & professionalism.
•    A “doer” mentality – acting when and where it is needed.
•    University degree in Business, Finance, Marketing and/or equivalent field
•    5+ years of relevant work experience
•    Excellent command of business English, both orally and in writing.
•    Experience of working with senior stakeholders
