A large community of Solutions Engineers across EMEA engages the COE team in a diverse number of ways, ranging from answering tenders, customizing demos and building prototypes to directly supporting partners and/or customers with specific requests. Comprehensive training programs on EPM applications and the presales role will prepare you for supporting the field organizations across EMEA.
As a solution engineer, you have the chance to develop in a very broad spectrum, ranging from product expertise, customer interaction, communication and general IT market knowledge. Successful Solutions Engineers are highly talented individuals that develop and combine business knowledge with product expertise and have the possibility to develop a career in many different IT (and non-IT) functions. Also, they act as business partners within the Solution Engineering eco-system and are seen as trusted advisors by the Sales Community.
The candidate we are looking for has solid professional experience in Finance and Controlling and a very good understanding of multiple core processes:
Planning – Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB)
Financial Consolidation & Close (FCC)
Close to Report - Account Reconciliation (ARC) & Tax Reporting (TRC)
Allocations – Profitability & Cost Management (PCM)
Narrative Reporting (NR)
Master Metadata – Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
The candidate should have experience on/worked with Enterprise Performance Management software products (preferably: worked for implementation or support) like Oracle PBCS, Oracle FCCS, Oracle EPCM, Oracle NR, Hyperion, IBM Cognos, SAP PBC etc. and has a strong customer focus. He or she is comfortable in delivering presentations and is always looking to raise the bar of own skills and competencies.

Business skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Cybernetics, Polytechnics School or comparable
Very good understanding of Finance & Accounting processes (planning and budgeting, financial close and consolidation, account reconciliation, tax reporting, cost management etc.)
Previous exposure to / hands-on experience with EPM systems
Good understanding of and passion for digital and emerging trends in EPM / SaaS like Gen AI, Machine learning, IoT technologies etc.
