Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance

Monitor and document project implementation and make recommendations as appropriate stakeholders, WPHA & AIHSS WVPNGEnsure training materials used are recommended by NDOH and UNICEF and approved for use.Assess and provide support to the PHAs, Health Care Facility Workers, VHAs and local leaders through regular on-site supervisory and advisory visits to enhance partners and community’s competence.

Representation & Networking

Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners (PHAs, Health Care Workers), local organizations and community groups and must be an open thinkerPromote open discussions with community leaders to evaluate.Able to conduct monthly update meeting with respective PHA as well as regular update meeting with AIHSS2.Uphold Safeguarding at all times when reaching out to supervisors, work colleagues, health care workers and beneficiaries.

Documentation

Provide monthly statistical reports on-time to the for reporting to M&E officer/coordinator.Coordinate with PHA and document all activities conducted.Coordinate closely with WPHA information Office to gather eNHIS report and other updates on a monthly base and share with AIHSS2.Follow up WPHA and provide monthly report to AIHSS2 project after receiving reports from WPHA M&E officer as well as District health servicesDocument and provide acquittals on time and request appropriately on WVPNG procurement and financial systems.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEMinimum of Bachelor's degree or college qualification in nursing or public health. Preferably social sciencesAt least 2-3 years of experience working in health settings especially in the areas of maternal child health like Well Baby Clinic, MCH Outreach program etc.Registered Pharmacist or Health Professional with Public Health Qualifications and post graduate training in cold chain management and/or immunization program managementExperience in partners engagement and networkingExperience in working with Provincial and District Government and health systems.Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writingExperience in Community mobilization and leadership roleDemonstrated effective experience in leading teams in the implementation of immunization programs.Demonstrated experience in EPl planning, operation and monitoring is essential particularly cold chain logistics and vaccine handling, storage and distribution.Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to produce timely concise reports.Sound knowledge in PNG Government health systems and programsSound knowledge of all vaccines and cold-chain equipment relating EPI programSound knowledge of vaccine management and cold-chain management trainingComputer literateCommunication, advocacy & facilitation skill
