Lead and shape a team within our software engineering organization, delivering a cutting-edge enterprise platform allowing users to leverage the science and art of decision making. You'll lead your team in leveraging the latest technologies in domain driven design shipping impactful releases to the most progressive airlines in the world. This is a role where you can stay hands-on, make impact setting focus on delivery, mentoring engineers, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and rapid delivery.

Main Responsibilities

Common Accountabilities

Responsible for the budget, performance, and outcomes of a medium-sized team or multiple teams. Contributes to resource planning, budgeting, and policy development, and supports growth plans for team members.

Maintains a mid- to long-term perspective on the business and contributes to departmental strategy through a broad understanding of the environment. Actively participates in complex decision-making.

Operates independently with support from management as needed, escalating issues only when necessary.

Specific Accountabilities

Business Understanding:

Co-create and communicate the team’s technical and functional roadmap in alignment with department and company goals.

Share updates on team progress and activities.

Support the delivery of team outcomes within your area of expertise.

Collaboratively develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational needs.

Recommend improvements to processes, workflows, and operational models with measurable impact on business planning.

Technical Standards:

Effectively manage the resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries.

Collaborate with software development, architecture, solutions, and quality assurance teams to ensure systems are designed for stability, scalability, and performance.

Communication:

Support clear and timely communication with team members regarding organizational updates and priorities.
