Engineering Intern – Southern California Remediation Practice (Hybrid)

Your Role:

As an Engineering Intern, you will:

·         Assist in preparing various environmental reports.

·         Support soil, soil vapor, and groundwater investigations.

·         Manage and maintain field equipment.

·         Collect, manage, and analyze field data.

·         Coordinate subcontractor activities.

·         Help operate and maintain remediation systems.

·         You will work closely with full-time engineers and geologists, receiving assignments and taking responsibility for task completion.

 

Qualifications:

·         Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

·         Highly motivated with strong technical writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

·         Detail-oriented, resourceful, and effective at managing time and innovation.

·         Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, gINT, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

·         Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·         Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience. 

Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 hour

 

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

 

A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
