Engineering Administrative Specialist **At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.** ​ **Job Overview** TE Connectivity’s R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams conceive original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice. The Engineering Administrative Specialist provides support for day to day, Northborough development site activities. The administrative support III position interacts with all functions located at the Northborough Bulk Cable Development Lab. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Interacting with outside contractors for the following but not limited to: Cleaning/Janitorial services, equipment repair/maintenance, trash services. + Entering indirect purchase requisitions. + Maintaining all office supplies. + Assisting with office schedules. + Take & Maintain meeting notes. + Creating Shipping documents (Commercial invoices, packing lists). + Packaging sample shipments. + Interacting with transportation services: UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, LTLs, Freight Forwarders etc. + Interface with corporate logistics. + Support SAFE Activities. + Support ISO Activities. + Maintain Northborough procedures for areas including: ISO, Laboratory (Physical, SI & Product) plus EH&S. + Provide any support for any activities or projects necessary to support the business. **What your background should look like:** + 1-3 years of Manufacturing administrative support experience required. + High School Diploma or GED required. + Good computer skills a required. + Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point a must. + Knowledge of SAP a plus. + Attention to detail. + Great organizational skills. + Good communication skills. + Not easily discouraged. **Competencies** Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork **ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY** TE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
