Job Summary
1.1. To lead all design and technical topics related to realize Product Development from Product Pre-
development to Project Team Release, in accordance to customer’s requirement and procedures
established.
Job Scope
2.1. Create and maintain technical documentation.
2.2. layout and design of mechanical (plastic/metal) components and parts.
2.3. improve existing solutions based on technical requirements.
2.4. create and maintain drawings with CAD system.
2.5. create and maintain part lists (BOM), provide BOM and BOM changes to EIS team.
2.6. create and maintain technical documentation.
2.7. prepare functional cost analysis for new and existing products.
2.8. follow the project schedule according Product Innovation Framework PIF process.
2.9. improve designs according to input from project team members.
2.10. support line and warranty teams for drawing changes and BOM updates.
2.11. ensure all drawings and documents are up-to-date based on engineering change (EC) requests.
2.12. apply content driven engineering (follow BES-PE principles).
2.13. apply all processes according to valid PT and Bosch procedures published in BGN.
2.14. support and take over special tasks on section and department level as assigned by the superior.
2.15. Key person for Kit level overview/update on cordless product.
2.16. Support and takeover special tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Job Requirement
3.1.1. Bachelor / Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
3.2. Exposure and Experience.
3.2.1. Fresh graduate or less than 2 years of professional experience in the same area or less than 3
years of experience in a related area.
3.2.2. Design of metal/plastic components and/or part assemblies for consumer goods or household
appliances. Related areas are automotive and industrial applications.
3.2.3. Exposure to the manufacturing process of plastic and metal components, especially injection
molding.
3.2.4. Working in international project teams using English.
3.3. Knowledge, Skills and Ability.
3.3.1. Transfer of technical requirements into a design solution by applying a systematic approach.
3.3.2. Understanding cause-effect relationships of technical details.
3.3.3. Pro-E CAD system or other CAD system experience.
3.3.4. PC applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
