As an **EMEA Forecasting and Field Inventory Analyst** based in Diegem, Belgium, you will play a key role in developing forecast models that capture commercial strategies, optimizing and participating in the EMEA S&OP processes for demand and field inventory. Your expertise and the collaboration with finance, commercial, supply chain, and marketing teams will help drive and maintain efficiency within the business operations, ensuring Abbott continues to deliver exceptional healthcare solutions.
**Your Main Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and maintain sales and field inventory forecasting models based on cross functional assumptions.
+ Analyze demand trends to optimize inventory levels across EMEA, identify market variances, challenge assumptions and drive improved forecast accuracy
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and supply chain teams, to align forecasts with strategic objectives.
+ Use root cause analysis and stakeholder collaboration to resolve challenges
+ Monitor forecast and inventory performance leveraging dashboards to communicate insights to drive business decisions and mitigate risk.
+ Identify risks and opportunities to proactively recommend solutions.
+ Work closely with global and regional teams to improve inventory and sales modeling for phase in/phase out strategies
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and efficiencies in forecasting, reporting and inventory processes.
+ Present at monthly S&OP reviews, facilitate demand reviews, reconcile S&OP forecasts with financial commitments (LBE).
+ Summarize complex data and evolving assumptions into clear, concise reports and recommendations for leadership.
+ Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the new IBP Commercial Management Review process for the EMEA.
**Your Profile:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field
+ Proven experience in forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain analysis within an international environment.
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in excel modeling, planning systems and analytics tools.
+ Excellent communication, and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
+ Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
