As an ED - Innovation Manager you will be successful focusing on innovation and new product developments for the Value Chain Finance department within structured lending. On the one hand, you will focus on innovation within the existing product offering of Value Chain Finance and the way of working; and on the other hand, you will focus on new financing solutions and new business models to service our clients. You will be working in a small global team with close cooperation with the regional VCF teams as well as the wider Carbon Bank and Innovation community within Rabobank.
In the role of innovation manager you will work in the Global VCF Innovation team on new financing solutions and new business models for VCF and the wider Rabobank group. Work with our internal colleagues, vendors and clients to provide new product solutions to our client base in a more seamless and solutions-based manner. This innovation can occur within the existing portfolio of deals in order to protect and grow the VCF book and franchise and with new deals right out of the gate. Recognizing the inherent stickiness of the VCF product offerings, it is the ambition and strategy of VCF to be the provider of choice to our clients for the long-term because of our excellence in delivery, execution, service and innovation, not because it is too difficult or expensive to change providers or because the process is too cumbersome.
In the role you will be working alongside other members of the VCF Innovation team and a number of intrinsically motivated VCF employees from the regional VCF teams and wider W&R Innovation team, to realize the vision in delivering our clients cutting edge products in a cost effective and user-friendly manner and within the overall Risk Appetite and strategy of VCF and Rabobank. Equally as important is a focus on how to do things within VCF and Rabobank and trying to insure that we are and remain the employer of choice for our people.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting the Head of Innovation to create an innovation culture within VCF including promoting this within the regions where VCF is presentSupporting Innovation and New Product initiatives from ideation all the way through to completion/executionIdentify opportunities for VCF (new transactions or within the existing portfolio), with a particular focus on innovative working capital solutions across a wide variety of clients (TCF and Corporate Banking Clients)In agreement with Regional VCF Heads set action plans – focusing commercial activities mainly in the F&A and B4E sector, with a focus on sustainable and new / innovative working capital solutions for W&R clientsLeading product development by adapting existing products and combining characteristics of different solutions to remain competitive and comply with changes in rules and regulationsRepresent the Bank at functions, seminars, etcEnsure good communication with key stakeholders (e.g., global head of VCF, regional VCF teams, risk management, Corporate Banking Relationship Managers, legal etc)Contribute to a strong, successful and well informed team atmosphere, including through open communication and discussion within the teamKeep Head of Innovation informed and up to date of key issuesCoaching and supporting of other team members and wider VCF colleaguesYour Promise to Us:

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $190,000 - $340,000
This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
