Job Description
Assist the Maintenance Officer/Senior Duty Engineer in the daily operation within the departmentEnsures the standard maintenance for the hotel’s different equipment is attended to like plumbing, electrical appliances, locks, heating, air conditioning, bathroom fixtures, and all other related equipment is in good working conditionTake on small renovation jobs such as painting, carpeting, furnishings, etc.Be familiar with the operational duties and the servicesCheck system or equipment for faults and follow up on the repair works if requiredEnsure that all firefighting facilities and equipment are ready to use at all timesMonitor the service and maintenance of all equipment and controlsFollow up on preventive and corrective maintenance. To keep a record for proper control for efficiencyKeep a daily log that inventories the work done in the hotelsKeep up to date on safety-related administrative documentsEnsures life and property safetyEnsure his/her safety and the safety of others during your interventions and those of the external service providersGives colleagues any help they require in terms of hotel maintenanceStrive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values

 

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role. Preferably with experience in hotel, facilities, or construction maintenanceITE/Nitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical / Electronics, and Air Conditioning servicingStrong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsA positive and helpful attitude to work and colleaguesGood communication skillsThe ability to deal effectively with mechanicsVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
