Thompson Palm Springs is seeking an **experienced and dynamic Lifestyle Director of Sales, Marketing & Events** to lead our team. Located in the heart of Palm Springs along the vibrant Palm Canyon Drive, our hotel is a hub of style, culture, and luxury.
With **168 rooms, 25 stunning suites, two pools, a signature restaurant with a wine-tasting lounge, and 8,000 square feet of event space** , this is an incredible opportunity to shape the success of a premier destination.
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving revenue, leading high-performing teams, and creating unforgettable guest experiences? As the **Director of Sales,** **Marketing & Events** , you'll be at the helm of our hotel's sales and marketing strategy, overseeing everything from revenue forecasting to branding, business planning, and high-level ownership meetings.
In this role, you’ll lead and inspire a team of managers and administrative staff—recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching them to success. Your expertise will shape our sales & events processes, from negotiating group and transient contracts to managing key accounts and optimizing retention to supporting event programming and acquisition strategies.
Collaboration is key, as you'll report directly to the **General Manager and work closely with the Regional Vice President of Sales** , ensuring seamless communication and strategic execution. If you're a results-driven professional with exceptional organizational skills and a knack for innovation, we’d love to have you lead the charge in maximizing our hotel’s revenue potential.
The salary range for this position is $127,800 to $198,000. This is the pay range for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.

**Qualifications:**
+ 6 years or more of progressive hotel Sales experience in lifestyle hotel environment
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
+ Demonstrated history of success in sales, events & marketing
+ Results driven, energetic, and focused
+ Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
+ Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
+ Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
+ Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
