About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Director of Finance to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Finance function for the hotel. This is a hands-on, highly operational role and looking for an experienced and commercially minded senior finance professional to complement our Leadership Team. Responsible for the Finance, IT and Purchasing departments, this is a hands-on leadership role, actively involved in business decision making, while ensuring compliance and business plan execution.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensures all accounting practices comply with all Company and Government regulationsCompiles, updates and maintains all budgets and forecastsAdminister and control all cash management for the HotelAdministration of all insurance matters in conjunction with local brokersLiaise with internal and external auditorsWork closely with Departments to ensure payroll management and efficienciesMaintain a Capex registerProactively initiates communication with the Owning CompanyGrow, develop and support our internal talent in all departmentsAbout Hyatt Place Melbourne Essendon Fields
