In this role, you will be responsible for managing operation and implementing manufacturing strategies to drive the supply base towards Best-in-Class Manufacturing practices with high quality products at competitive cost. This role will have opportunity to interact with all Microsoft cutting edge Surface products lines and XBOX.
The individuals is expected to manage contract manufacturer KPIs and work collaboratively with multiple team across the organization, which include Quality, Manufacturing Test Engineering, Material Management, Supplier Quality Engineering, Sourcing and Finance team. The candidate should role model leadership who motivates others to full potential, drive root causes analysis and implement corrective actions timely. Ability to communicates and drive team to resolves issues that impede business progress.

**Responsibilities**
+ Drive operational excellent in factory operation, responsible for all facets of operation at contract manufacturing include by not limit to 5S, Lean, quality monitoring, Social and safety compliance.
+ Lead a team of technical resources or leverage SME (Subject Matter Expert) from other teams to drive actions through internal functional groups and suppliers to attain business targets like On Time Delivery, scrap cost, Week of Supply, and product health.
+ Cost management is another key element in which Factory Management director will be accountable annual budget management. While meeting budget target, FM shall drive continuous cost reduction strategy & management via process and operation improvements.
+ Early partnership with volume production teams to identify design elements and repairability opportunity that are new, unique, or difficult to enable highest repair technics efficiency.
+ Directing and setting priorities for teams focused on creating new ways to solve repair and refurbish challenges, inventing and commercializing new technologies and methods.
+ Collaborate across cross-functional teams to systematic feedback on generation improvement on product design respective to repairability and manufacturability.
+ Drive clear and accurate communications and recommendations to peers and senior management by distilling complex technical challenges, outlining options, and providing supporting data.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in a manufacturing environment/repair
+ OR Master's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in a manufacturing environment /repair
+ OR 12+ years equivalent experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 7+ years experience in a manufacturing environment/repair
+ OR Master's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
+ OR Doctorate in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment/repair
+ OR 9+ years equivalent experience
+ Patent or track record of engineering excellency.
+ Experience directly managing and leading an operation team with well-rounded skill set (Engineering, Supply Chain, product knowledge, finance, people management, compliance)
+ Experience working with/in contract manufacturing experience which involved Program or Project Management and broad understanding of the hardware manufacturing industry, business and legal intricacies.
+ Effective communications skills that translate across different levels in the organization which include peer, support function and higher management.
