Director, Sustainability South Lead
The Sustainability Director for Brazil & South Cone will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the sustainability initiatives for the region, aligned with LATAM and Global strategies. This role is critical in ensuring that Brazil & South Zone meets its sustainability goals and adheres to environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field, along with proven experience in project management and strong sustainability reporting skills. **What You'll Do for Us** + Ensures compliance of Sustainability Strategy (Water, Packaging, Emissions) at South Region level, in line with LAOU Sustainability guidelines; allocated from TCCC in all countries. + Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics and progress towards goals. + Work in collaboration with finance, technical and strategic planning areas to comply with the global and regional reporting requests process. + Identify, search & reapply synergies and best practices within South Region; Identify external trends in Sustainability and the Sustainability agenda at South Region level. + Focal point for interface with LAOU Sustainability team being responsible for connecting and sharing information, trends and risks. + Work in partnership with Technical, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure that Sustainability principles are embraced by the entire South Region. + Ensure Sustainability Agenda integration into business planning processes and priorities, leadership & growth behaviors, company values and Business Strategy & Plans, delivering the Vision of Sustainable Growth. + Engage with local key stakeholders within Sustainability ecosystem across South Region. + Work in collaboration with Government Relations teams to provide strong proof points to help protect the business from restrictive regulations. + Work in collaboration with External Communications teams to provide positive content to be amplified and help promote Corporate Reputation. + Ensure institutional leadership with Bottlers. + 70% of the work is focused on the short to mid-term strategies and plans, whilst 30% of the work should be focused on long-term Work Focus + Stakeholders engagement: ability to build long term partnerships with NGOs, Civil Society and other Industries. + Strategic and pragmatic vision: ability to translate complex challenges into actionable strategies and plans. + Leadership presence: ability to lead multi-functional teams and permeate across different areas of the company and the Coca-Cola System (Bottlers). + Networked mindset: ability to move easily throughout different sectors of society, building solid partnerships with key stakeholders (government, associations, opinion leaders, NGOs, etc.) + People development: genuine passion for creating an environment that allows people to develop their potential, creating a high-performance team. + Company Spokesperson: Represent the Company in external forums, workshops and events related to Sustainability agenda at LA level, always complying with communications guiding principles and approvals. Communication Focus This position is responsible for representing the company in external meetings, forums, workshops, having intense communication with external stakeholders; Internally, this position needs to communicate to influence/engage franchise operations/other areas to execute strategic Sustainability priorities, ensuring the progress of KPIs towards long-term goals.
