Job Description

Team Summary

The Head of Marketing VAS (Value Added Services), INSA will lead the Client Marketing team and report to Head of Marketing for INSA and Head of Marketing Services for APAC. The Marketing Services - Director will be responsible for delivering strategic and tactical marketing value to our key clients in India & South Asia by actively promoting VISA’s Marketing Value Added Services & Solutions. Working closely with the Client Marketing team, the CRM teams, the Business Development teams, VISA Consulting teams and the Hub (Singapore) team to develop and propose unique solutions that deliver growth for VISA and VISA’s clients and partners.

The Marketing Services Director will lead the Marketing VAS proposals to clients and partners, forecast and manage the VAS opportunity pipeline, participate in regional business updates and work closely with the regional Partner Marketing Services Team to ensure the effective delivery of revenue and margins.

Strategy and Planning:

The role will be responsible to develop and implement a comprehensive Marketing VAS strategy for clients aligned with their overall business goalsSupport Country Management in achievement of business priorities and marketing revenue and growth targetsThe role will be responsible for developing deeper client partnerships and generating new revenue streams by providing Marketing VAS including marketing insight, data-driven marketing methodologies and marketing consulting servicesOwn the Marketing Services P&L and work towards achieving the set target

Campaign management:

   The role will be responsible to strategize, develop and execute marketing campaigns end-to-end to promote VAS offerings   The person should have an understanding of Digital marketing, social media, and other offline channels to increase awareness and adoption of Marketing VAS.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

The role will work with Visa Consulting & Business Development Teams to invest client incentives or investments into solutions based on Marketing VAS capabilities with the objective of driving acquisition, activation, usage and retention.The role will work closely with cross-functional teams, Sales, legal, controllership and finance teams, locally and regionally, to ensure the effective delivery of revenue and margins associated to the Marketing VAS commitments.Management of all marketing VAS agency relationship in India

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

The role will be responsible for managing and reporting the revenue pipeline, project status, successes and challenges related to Marketing Value Added Services to the Marketing Services Head - APAC and to the local and regional Finance teamsManage the development, and timely on-forecast implementation of integrated marketing plans for INSA, to support the agreed marketing strategies and achievement of business and client objectives.

Qualifications

What you will need:
Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience with a minimum of 10+ years of experience related VAS marketing or marketing delivery role
Demonstrated selling skills and client engagement skills
Confidence and ability to work with senior clients within marketing / business teams and at the executive level across existing and new partners.
Extensive communication development and execution experience, with a focus on digital and experiential activation.
Strategic, analytical thinker who consistently challenges the status quo and constructively challenges the team to aim for higher ground.
Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects across internal and external organizations.
Possess strong business acumen and demonstrate being commercially minded – good with financials, numbers and forecasting.
Ability to develop amazing strategic narratives that commercializes ideas.
Superb communication skills and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrates energy and positive responses when tackling challenging problems and views complicated tasks as engaging or motivating.
