The Position
This position will give you the opportunity to lead the cross-functional launch process from start to finish, contribute to business strategy within the Rare Endocrine therapy area, and steer commercial analytics across Rare Diseases. You will work closely with global teams, strengthen cross-country collaboration, and drive data-driven insights to build a competitive advantage within the global focus markets. Key Responsibilities:
Global Launch Leadership for somapacitan: Lead the full launch planning process, from pre-launch framework development to post-launch execution, ensuring alignment and readiness across functions. Commercial Effectiveness & Resource Management: Drive commercial success by overseeing resource allocation, sales forecasting, and KPIs for Growth Hormone Therapy (GHT), while optimizing field force effectiveness and commercial operations. Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead the cross-functional Launch and Execution Group (CLG) for GHT, ensuring alignment on launch strategies, sequencing, and organizational readiness for market entry. Strategic Analytics Leadership: Lead the Rare Disease (RareD) Commercial Analytics function, with the support from our colleagues in Global Business Services (GBS), ensuring the successful implementation of data-driven strategies and driving adoption of insights across the organization. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with strategic partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders, while advancing the integration of new data sources to continuously improve analytics capabilities and decision-making.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent in business, pharma, consulting, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial, launch, commercial excellence (CE), or analytical roles. Prior experience with indirect leadership and Global Business Services (GBS) is a plus. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage. Strong ability to collaborate and drive change across departments, engaging stakeholders from HQ, NOA, IO, regions, and key affiliates. Independent, proactive, and results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and simplification opportunities. Intellectual curiosity with the ability to think creatively and take initiative to solve complex problems. Accountable and capable of delivering high-quality results while meeting deadlines.
