Title and Summary
Director, Financial Planning & AnalysisOverview•\tThe FP&A Director has a broad remit across APEMEA. The function is responsible for providing finance support to the APEMEA CFO and other functional leads across the APEMEA Regions. In addition, the role will take on meaningful projects at the APEMEA Finance level
Role
•\tWork with APEMEA CFO, Region FP&A Leads and business partners in APEMEA to build and execute on strategy for the business
•\tManage delivery of a high quality and insightful end-to-end month end and financial planning and forecasting process for APEMEA Markets. Focused across revenue, contra and expenses, including communications, timetables, data requirements & modelling
•\tCreate a clear and coherent story of performance and actions for use within the business unit and at a group level
•\tCommunicate key drivers behind the budget and forecast to APEMEA leadership, linking the financial performance to strategy
•\tTrack risks & opportunities, identifying what options are available to deliver the plan each month
•\tWorks cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment with targets; performs variance analysis to deliver and articulate arguments in an effective manner
•\tPrepare senior management presentations such as Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR), Monthly, Performance & Forecast Reviews and other ad-hoc presentations
•\tAnalyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and expenses
•\tTaking personal accountability to drive and own business performance through insight, challenge and understanding of the business
•\tAct as the main point of interaction between APEMEA and corporate finance
•\tBuild strong and positive relationships with Regional APEMEA, Vertical Finance teams and the BFC, ensuring APEMEA objectives are met and translate business assumptions into financial data
•\tDevelop and build management reporting and insight for the Senior Management Team for presentation by Finance leaders.
•\tDrive business process improvement initiatives by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modelling; review and create suggestions to Region plans
•\tReports to the APEMEA VP FP&A
All About You:
•\tBachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting; (MBA/ACCA/ACA/CFA/CIMA preferred)
•\tStrong analytical skills, commercial mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
•\tProactive with the ability to identify issues before they develop into problems; proactively resolving issues directly or through escalation to appropriate partners
•\tStrong sense of ownership and able to deliver results within tight deadlines
•\tStrong interpersonal & communication skills
•\tAdept at building relationships with a broad set of colleagues
•\tStrong contributor who thrives in a collaborative team environment, but comfortable with making independent thought-out decisions
•\tTrack record of driving process and systems improvements
•\tSuccessfully embodies change management;
•\tAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, Oracle, Hyperion and Tableau
