The AP Business Planning & Operations team mandate is to drive a market focused agenda, being the connective tissue between markets, regions and global groups, breaking down silo behaviors, and executing against key regional initiatives. The team oversees business performance management for AP and supports cross-functionally on key initiatives, whilst continually streamlining operations across the region. The team has four remits:

The Director will lead the BPO pillar and be responsible for a wide range of activities required to support the AP Head of Business Operations and Regional President in delivering against regional and global priorities. The role is based in Singapore and provides an excellent opportunity to gain a broad strategic overview of Visa’s business - it will involve close collaboration with leaders and country managers across Asia Pacific to provide them and their teams support across various types of activities. The successful candidate will also engage frequently with Global stakeholders on key reporting engagements. This position reports into the AP Head of Business Planning & Operations, and will have a Manager reporting to them.
Specific responsibilities span across the following key areas:
End-to-end management of AP Scorecard – includes target-setting, reporting, continuous improvement of AP Scorecard processes.Develop, manage and report against AP OKRs - includes cross-functional oversight of APLT OKRs Manage business review cadences for AP (Cluster and functional business reviews, APLT meetings, Global business reviews) – includes curating agendas for AP’s quarterly business reviews and program managing end-to-end processBear full accountability over managing market visits and briefing material development for CEO, Global President and Regional PresidentPartner with Visa Global teams on key reporting engagements / tools – Quarterly Earnings Call, Board Updates, Executive-Council bi-weekly reports, Global Town Halls, TRUTH, Acceptance etc.Partner with Business and Strategy Insights team to develop the Regional Management Information System (MIS) – serve as the ‘A’ on providing insights from a business planning and performance management point-of-viewOwn, identify and drive operational and strategic initiatives together with Head of AP BPO and Regional President to address specific business needs – org initiatives, sales operations / effectiveness, new capability development, etc.Maintain a strong understanding of various market landscapes to possess foundational context for key workstreamsContinuously be abreast the organization’s key topics, initiatives and prioritiesManage a team, including a ‘Manager’ and potentially VLA gradsWhy this is important to Visa
The candidate will play a key central role in driving business effectiveness through a best-in-class project/program management capability. Additionally, the candidate will work across a range of initiatives to effectively support the AP BPO Lead, Regional President, and APLT.
