The Director, Aftermarket & Service Sales is responsible for holistic oversight of commercial activities that include Service and Software Support Contracts, Qualifications, Training, Fixed Price Products, Parts, Consumables and Software License products. In this role, you will apply your leadership skills and experience in the ongoing development of our front-line managers and Professional Sales Associates, to advance customer experience and build loyalty. This role is accountable for the performance and results of multiple teams that contribute and drive top line growth and profitability in the Americas Aftermarket business.
This position reports to the Sr Director, Americas Service and is part of the Service Department located in United States and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Collaborate in the implementation and execution of commercial sales departmental plans, strategies including business and/or organizational priorities to achieve goals and objectives.
+ Partner with Operations, Customer Service and other teams to ensure full execution of regional sales strategies (including orders, shipments, AR collections, field lead incentive program).
+ Lead sales funnel and forecasting reviews and ensure reporting of all business opportunities, concepts, and strategies through the use of CRM and provide voice of customer and feedback to product development teams.
+ Participates in the development of annual budgets based on strategic plan and deliver budgeted performance.
+ Establish processes, metrics, and compensation programs to effectively drive these functions; Build a high-performance team (incl. effective change management) that is “best in class.”
+ Supports the development of aftermarket associates with an active participation in succession planning.
+ Provide leadership in measuring and improving results through a metrics-driven, continuous improvement culture.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience, with no less than 5 years of successful experience in management/leadership level within Life Sciences field.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
+ Ability to instill customer satisfaction that is recognizable and valuable to the customer.
+ Ability to interface with Senior management and explain or negotiate resources or business plans.
+ Skilled at being strategically driven and equally strong in sales execution and delivery oriented.
+ In-depth understanding of customer business, goals and objectives, strategies, and needs
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Up to 50% travel required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Valid Passport
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Industry knowledge, Analytical instrument or LCMS knowledge preferred.
+ Previous experience with Oracle and Sales Force system preferred.

The salary range for this role is $135,000- $140,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
