Purpose:
Responsible for growing the revenue and usage of Pearson’s industry leading English Language Learning products and platforms. You are a highly motivated and analytically minded individual with strong customer facing skills. You go above and beyond in servicing your customer base and understanding their challenges. You apply your knowledge of Pearson’s language learning and teaching portfolio to inform customers of the continuous improvements in our products and how to best leverage them to engage and inspire. Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to a positive, collaborative, and team-based culture by working with direct and indirect colleagues to achieve goals Work in an autonomous manner with the ability to problem solve and territory manage Employ effective communication techniques including pre-call planning and productive questioning strategies that focus on learning outcomes that lead to winning business with a Pearson language learning solution Sell, present, and negotiate, Pearson digital offerings in person and/or through virtual video meetings Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills Maintain product knowledge around Pearson digital offerings, the language learning industry, and factors influencing the market environment to provide advantageous insights for customers Crucially, tracking and forecasting in OneCRM (Salesforce.com) Possess strong analytical skills Meet/exceed sales and registration goals expressed as % growth Employ effective selling techniques including pre-call planning, effective opening, and productive questioning strategies that lead to a close. Demonstrate superb organizational and follow-up abilities Manage and grow territory comprised of 2 and 4 year colleges and universities, Private Language Institutes, Adult Education Centers. Maintain expert product knowledge around Pearson technologies, the educational industry, and factors influencing the market environment; use promotional materials to support marketing messaging through email and social media Exhibit strong presentational skills. Demonstrate teamwork through sharing of best practices and working with cross functional team. English Language Learning & Teaching industry experienceCompensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
Minimum full-time salary range is between $60,000 - $65,000.
