As a part of Mastercard’s Services organization, the Services marketing team partners with both the product and sales organization to create actionable B2B marketing programs that fuel the business.

Mastercard’s Customer Marketing team is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketing Analyst to execute impactful email nurture and digital marketing campaigns that engage customers, drive revenue, and strengthen relationships with financial institutions and merchants.

About the Role:
•\tContribute to overall digital and email strategy, customer journey mapping, and lifecycle marketing initiatives
•\tDevelop and execute targeted and automated email campaigns—including onboarding, nurturing, and retention—for financial institutions and merchants
•\tLeverage dynamic content and personalization tactics to enhance engagement and relevance
•\tTrack and optimize key performance indicators such as open rate, click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, bounce rate, and unsubscribe rate
•\tCollaborate with content creators and designers to produce compelling email content
•\tImplement A/B tests to optimize campaign performance
•\tReport on email campaign success using platform tools
•\tEnsure compliance with privacy industry policies and legal regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)
•\tManage email databases and segmentation for targeted outreach
•\tOversee daily production, scheduling, and execution of email campaigns.
•\tTest email assets for compatibility across email clients, browsers, and mobile devices
•\tStay updated on industry trends and best practices to refine strategies
•\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate email campaigns with broader marketing efforts

About You: Knowledge & Experience
•\tExperience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Knak)
•\tProficient in integrating email marketing platforms with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
•\tStrong understanding of email marketing best practices, including compliance with deliverability standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, DMARC, DKIM, SPF)
•\tWorking knowledge in audience segmentation and leveraging dynamic content for personalized messaging
•\tWorking knowledge of digital marketing strategies including targeted display advertising and use of intent signals for campaign optimization
•\tExperience building and optimizing automated workflows for lifecycle marketing (e.g., onboarding, lead nurturing, retention)
•\tProficient in using analytics tools to measure and report on campaign performance, including key KPIs (open rate, CTR, conversion, etc.)
•\tComfortable with A/B testing methodologies and applying insights to refine strategy
•\tKnowledge of email design principles, including responsive design, HTML, and CSS
•\tCreative copywriting and editing skills tailored for digital engagement
•\tStrong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and collaborate across teams
•\tExcellent attention to detail with strong time management abilities
•\tAbility to adapt and learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment
•\tUnderstanding of how email supports broader multi-channel marketing strategies and customer journey mapping
Qualifications:
•\tBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
•\tExperience in email marketing or digital marketing
•\tProficiency in email marketing platforms and analytics tools
•\tPreferred: Expertise in payment industry, merchant or acquirer, payment facilitator
•\tA highly motivated self-starter who can proactively work on their own initiative, take ownership and drive projects forward and deliver tangible, measurable results
