Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (36.5 hours per week)


Salary: Circa. £36,576 per annum, depending on experience

About the role

As our Digital Campaigns Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our digital acquisition team, responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive content strategy across our digital channels. This role offers the opportunity to take your creative and strategic content skills to the next level while making a meaningful impact on children's lives.

You’ll develop and implement digital campaigns that resonate with UK audiences and drive user engagement, from initial awareness to conversion. Working collaboratively with various teams, you’ll refine content and explore new ways to connect with potential donors, turning them into sponsors and supporters.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing digital campaigns aligned with our mission and brand goals, ensuring content is tailored to each digital channel (including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube) and target audience.Leading brainstorming sessions to create highly creative content concepts, refining ideas, and writing compelling copy for digital channels.Optimising user experiences across digital platforms to maximise campaign impact and conversion.Supporting lead generation efforts and upper funnel engagement through strategic content designed to inspire action.Developing a content testing plan with a test-and-learn mindset, reporting insights back to the team and across the partnership to improve future campaigns.Analysing campaign performance, tracking financial acquisition targets, and advocating for data-driven decisions.Staying on top of digital trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas into campaigns and continuously enhance engagement strategies.

This role will be key to driving the success of our fundraising initiatives, supporting lead generation tactics, and meeting strict financial acquisition targets, all while ensuring that our digital content connects meaningfully with our supporters.

About You

You’re a creative and strategic thinker with a strong background in digital content creation and optimisation. You thrive in collaborative environments, bringing excellent communication and project management skills to every campaign. With a passion for driving engagement and making a meaningful impact, you excel at crafting content that resonates with diverse audiences and achieves campaign goals.

Required:

Proven experience in creating and executing digital content strategies for acquisition, with a focus on turning potential donors into supporters.A deep understanding of how engaging, tailored content drives conversion throughout the marketing funnel, and strategic knowledge of key social media platforms (including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube), as well as paid media channels and email.Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages across multiple digital channels.Experience delivering, testing, and optimising user experiences across digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging journey from awareness to conversion.Confidence in hosting cross-team content brainstorming sessions, delivering creative outputs that align with campaign objectives.Experience in reporting on content success, including providing insights to stakeholders within the organisation and across the global partnership.Strong stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and international offices.Experience creating storyboards and content plans to drive cohesive, impactful campaigns.

Desired:

Ability to use photo or video editing tools to enhance content for various digital channels.Experience using Google Analytics or similar tools to analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights.Experience leading content creation for other digital platforms (such as Clubhouse, Pinterest, etc.).Experience in fundraising campaigns and understanding of the digital fundraising landscape.A degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
