DevOps/Platform Engineer

Summary:

We are looking for a talented DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our Team. Your role will manage IT infrastructure components.

Key responsibilities:

Designing, implementing and maintaining VB Application Lifecycle Management;Creating and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations;Propagating Continuous Delivery, best practices and processes automation all around the company;An advocate of the DevOps mindset and self-servicing infrastructure;Allergic to manual tasks, and in love with automation;Feeling at home around Windows and Linux/Unix systems;Capable of designing high-availability scenarios and operating complex solutions.

About the Ideal Candidate:

Solid understanding of the full compute stack: storage, networking, OS, virtualization, containerization, configuration management and provisioning;Solid knowledge and experience in automation development;Solid knowledge and experience in virtualization and containerization technologies (VMWare, VirtualBox, Packer, Vagrant, Docker, Kubernetes);Experienced in delivering and operating cloud platforms and services;Experienced with technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Vault, Consul, Prometheus, ELK and others alike;Experienced with CI/CD pipelines and tools in the likes of GitLab CI, Jenkins and Nexus;Understanding data stream platforms, message brokers and queues;Proficiency in English.
