SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) enables companies to manage the entire lifecycle of a product, from conception and design to production, operation, and disposal. It integrates product data, processes, and collaboration tools to improve efficiency, innovation, compliance and shorten the time-to-market. 

Our PLM System Integration team is developing an integrated end-to-end solution, combining the best of external PLM systems and the SAP PLM portfolio.

We are looking for you! While coding will be your core task, developing software at SAP is much more than just that: It is a team effort, including designing our product for the end users/customers, delivering our developments efficiently, on time and in quality, while having fun.

As a Developer Associate (f/m/d) you will: 

Work with a great international team of professionals Execute software development focusing on concept, design, coding, (automated) testing, quality assurance and maintenance of product features  Resolve issues within PLMSI and support our customers Discuss business requirements and drive topics to resolution Think independently and apply your problem-solving skills Work with e.g., ABAP, REST API, Cucumber, JavaScript and SQL Become experienced with Agile methodologies like Scrum

The position comes with a clear perspective to grow. You will become an expert in ABAP and other technologies used in our solution and understand the business logic behind it.

What you bring 

Degree in computer science/ software engineering or equivalent, ideally with experience in coding in development using e.g., ABAP, Python, Java, C++ Strong team player with sense of responsibility and an eye for detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Goal oriented with good communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English and German Result-oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
