Purpose and Objective:
SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of complex product features in a development team.
Expectations and Tasks:
Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and support others in resolving issues. Show initiative and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency. Work closely with others and share expertise to ensure product success. Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Utilize advanced overall product and technical knowledge and share expertise within and across team and organization. Utilize advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Prior experience, internship, or academic coursework to include each of the following:
Financial Data analysis with Microsoft Excel;
Project-based consulting presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint;
Large volume data analysis with Python Pandas;
Perform data extraction and instance configuration on web service applications using Python language and REST architecture;
Develop and maintain data ETL pipeline to inject data into MySQL database with Python;
Automate data integrity QA process with tools such as Python and Microsoft Power BI or Tableau; and
Data visualization and reporting with tools such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $121,843 - $157,950. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $121,843 - $175,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
