Job Title: Developer

Purpose and Objective:   

Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a Developer at our Bellevue, WA location to work in an agile environment to transform Expense Configuration into highly scalable and robust microservices.  

 

Expectations and Tasks:  

Design and write services in Java and deploy to AWS Cloud using Docker, Helm and Kubernetes technologies. Work in a dev-ops model with latest open-source technologies like Kubernetes and Service Mesh. Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Develop software using programming languages like Java and understanding of design patterns, data structures and algorithms. Work with SQL and relational databases like MySQL, Oracle or others. Utilizing Spring framework and build API’s and services using REST, SOAP, etc. Perform test automation using continuous integration and Junit. Build automation technologies using Maven and Jenkins and continuous deployment. Write clean production ready code with a strong focus on security, quality, scalability and high performance.  

 

Education and Occupational Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study. 

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:  

Prior experience, internship or academic coursework to include each of the following:  

Analyze, design and implement feature enhancements using Java programming language; 

Relational databases (MySQL or Oracle) using SQL; 

Writing applications using Spring framework and REST APIs; 

CI/CD test automation for continuous integration; 

Building automation technologies using Gradle or Jenkins; 

Java script knowledge; 

Debug and fix production issues and provide ongoing production support; and 

Working with Agile Scrum methodology.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $137,259 - $166,500. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $137,259 - $185,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
